The Elder Scrolls: Legends - February 2019 Monthly Reward Card
With mere days left in the February Ranked Play season for The Elder Scrolls: Legends, it’s time to unveil this month’s reward card This month, we’re taking the opportunity to add a Neutral card to the mix that decks of all attributes can enjoy: Say hello to Training Grounds!
Training Grounds is a Neutral Support with an ongoing effect that buffs the stats of creatures you play so long as they share a type with the top creature of your deck. There is a level of randomness to the effect, but a keen player can mitigate that chance with smart deck-building.
Focusing on what type of creatures are in your deck, Training Grounds is its strongest in so-called “tribal” decks, such as Orcs, Goblins, and Token decks full of Imperials. However, two of the creature types that might benefit the most from this release are Factotums and Dwemer, since both of those decks have strong bases of Neutral cards. Training Grounds being Neutral also improves the consistency of cards like Mechanical Ally and Steam Constructor.
As with previous months, you’ll earn one copy of Training Grounds for reaching rank nine by the end of the month, two copies for rank five, and three copies for rank one and Legend. This month is also the first month where a full premium playset of the monthly reward card will be given to players who finish in the top 1,000 Legend ranks. Head into the Ranked ladder today to secure your copies of Training Grounds and, should you snag that Top 1,000 spot, prepare to buff your creatures in style!
