Introducing Twitch Drops

At Bethesda we believe in the power of Twitch. From Battlegrounds in The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, to “Let’s Plays” for games like Prey and Fallout 4, we love to watch our fans stream all of our games.

Today, we’re happy to announce a new partnership with Twitch in the form of Drops. Drops allow any user who has linked their account with their Twitch account a chance to get free stuff in the Bethesda games they’re already playing, just by streaming or viewing a stream for that game on Twitch. The best part? All of this is free! To get started, simply head over to, log in and link your Twitch account by clicking the Linked Accounts tab on the left.

Drops are live right now for The Elder Scrolls: Legends – Heroes of Skyrim. Visit the game page on Twitch to view great streamers or go live yourself to show off your Dragon deck. Drops are randomly handed out and include card packs and in-game currency. If you haven’t gotten a chance to check out Legends, it’s a free-to-play strategy card game on iPad, Android Tablets, PC and Mac, with a mobile phone version coming in July.

But Legends is just the start of our Twitch integration. Our vision for Drops is to allow anyone who is streaming or viewing a Bethesda title that is powered by to earn Drops. We’ll share more details in the future about supported titles.

Drops are just the beginning of our partnership with Twitch, and we’re incredibly excited to offer this up to our fans who watch content on Twitch, as well as the streamers who play our games and entertain the millions viewing their content. Make sure to link your Twitch account with your account today and keep an eye on for more information on our Twitch partnership as we support more titles and Twitch features.
